Then Friday morning we woke up and began our Seattle sight seeing. We started at Pike Street Market.

They had a fake fish that Robert was very interested in and kept touching. It was attached to a string and so every once in a while they would pull the string and make the fish jump and scare Robert.
After Pike street we went to the Seattle Aquarium.

It was a lot of fun. Robert got to touch Star fish and many other things that I don't know the name of. There was a big tank with big fish like sharks. He was very excited about that. After the Aquarium we meet with our friend Valerie and her new husband, Zack. Sorry, I don't have any pictures of them. They took us to the Space needle.

Actually, that is Valerie's shoulder. We spent a lot of time inside with Robert trying to decide if he was brave enough to go potty in a public restroom. It was also a long walk and day so we just took a break. We ate there at their little courtyard place. For those who don't know the Space needle is like a whole entertainment park. there was a carousal, bumper cars, arcades, mini roller coaster rides. We would have gone earlier and spent more time there if we knew that but oh well, we know for next time. That was our day in Seattle. We needed to stop at a grocery store for something, I don't remember what, it was an adventure trying to find one. We got lost a lot on this trip.
Friday we ended up driving to Portland to my grandparent's house. My Aunt Gayle had passed away while we were in Seattle and so everyone was going to hang out in Portland rather then the family Reunion in Ocean Shores. It turned out being good because we got to see more of my cousins and my dad and two brothers flew up to go to the funeral. Due to the unexpected turn of events no one had clothes for church or the funeral. So Friday we went to the mall. Robert and Kelsey had fun though.
That night we went to my Uncle Bill's house for dinner. It was the first time I had seen my cousins in a long time as well as their spouses and children. Robert had fun playing with all his second cousins. It was chaos with all the children. Even Aaron had a little friend. His second cousin, Abram (sorry if I spelled it wrong). They each took turns hitting and watching the other. At one point they were holding hands. I think there is only six week difference between the two.

Saturday we went to Saturday Market in downtown Portland. It is a lot of vendors selling varies things like jewelry, instruments, clothes and anything else you could think of to sell in a booth. Robert got knighted by the balloon guy.
The balloons lasted about 24 hours. We left the market and went and had dinner with one of Joseph's old missionary companies and his wife and kids. (Sorry no pictures). They have two little girls. There oldest is younger then Robert and there youngest is a little older then Aaron. They also had a rabbit which I think was the highlight of Robert's day. The next morning we had breakfast with Joe's Uncle Bob. It was a good visit. Joe got to learn more about Aunts and Uncles and his grandparents. We left breakfast and went back to my grandparent's basically to say bye to everyone and head back to Seattle. Aaron fell asleep on their couch and slept for several hours so we spent more time there then we intended. We drove back to Seattle at around 4. It took much longer then we thought it would because of traffic. It was quite amazing to have bumper to bumper traffic in the middle of no where for no apparent reason. We eventually got back to Seattle and spent the evening and Monday Morning relaxing at the hotel before catching our flight back to San Antonio. It was lots of fun and good to see all the family. Don't forget to look at our photo album for more pictures.
