(So how many posts am I at today, Happy Bertie and Lisa)
We are finally to Christmas morning (Maybe now you understand why I took so long to post). Santa came and visited Robert and Aunt Julie and Lisa's and at Grandma's house. Here is at Aunt Julie and Lisa's house. He got Shrek 3 which is really the only present he asked for but he thought he would get it for his birthday which is in a year.
We speedily headed to Grandma's house. Well, as fast as you can with 3 kids and 4 adults that almost all needed to take a shower. The boys took showers/baths the night before but everyone else waited until the morning off. I somehow got the roll of handing out the presents because Grandma got the job of keeping Aaron out of trouble. He is trouble.
There were a lot of presents and it was a lot of fun. It is times like this it makes it so fun having a big family and total chaos. Most of the rest of my family slowly showed up the rest of the day. Lisa being the teacher/librarian she is read a story to all the nieces and nephews. It was more like a poem and so all the kids were saying it with her. It was really funny.
I really didn't take a lot of pictures that day or the rest of the week.
It was also my Grandma's, my mom's mom, birthday. So, we made her a cake and sang to her. She later told us that she never had a cake until my Aunt Gayle started making her cakes when Aunt Gayle was an adult. So, we made sure to keep up the tradition. Just because your birthday is on Christmas day doesn't mean you shouldn't celebrate. Happy Birthday Grandma.
